I am spoiled living in Colorado Springs, CO. We have all these awesome trails right in our backyard. Today we decided to get some training in on High Drive. I first learned of Hight Drive by running the High Drive Challenge held by Mad Moose Events.
I started writing this post before leaving to hit the trail. It should be some good vert training today.
Completed the run. 5 miles total with 1,191 ft of elevation gain, 53:22 minutes with an average pace of 10:40. Not sure how to best explain High Drive. You can run it, but it will kick the crap out of you. Today was more of a run, power hike, run, power hike. Check out the run on Strava and my YouTube video that I posted.
